“Up for it” would be the way to describe Brian and Megg. This specifically stuck with Gustav at this special couple’s wedding. He mentioned that when he challenged them to step a little out of their comfort zone, hop into a car and go to a shebeen to photograph part of their creative session, they didn’t even hesitate. That’s great! As photographers we love to break the mould a bit and when couples are up for it, then it just makes it so much more fun.
On to the beauty of the day. If there ever was a bride that couldn’t stop smiling, then Megg was her. The radiance of her light was so palatable and you could see that it broke through to the most serious of guests. Brian on the other hand was mister cool from the moment I met them, however this didn’t prevent him from having a party. Grooving it up on the dance floor with his new wife, it just seemed so perfect. We wish upon them all the happiness in the world.
Normally we focus on the couple in these posts, but this time it will be worthy to note the father and bride dance. 3 Months worth of practice definitely paid off and Megg’s dad was so awesome. It’s easy to see where she inherited that fun spirit of hers.
