Jenna & Sheldon love animals. They love them a lot. Their parents love animals, their whole family love animals. That was very evident from the first time we met. Why mention this? Well when Gustav photographed their wedding at the ever magnificent Shepstone Gardens, he was completely surprised at how they managed to transform an urban venue into a scene from Out of Africa. It was special.
That was a sign of beautiful things to come. Such beauty! Jenna, the wild child, as her father described her, was the proverbial fairytale princess, but with a coolness to her, like a tigress in some yet to be written Disney blockbuster. Sheldon on the other hand was a true gentlemen right down to his old-school shaver. Almost like he was the lion tamer. That is probably why they fit together so well as a couple. Sheldon is a tough guy, but nothing is more sweet than when tough guys get side-swiped by the beauty of their brides and experience an emotion overflow. It was one of the top moments of their wedding.
The evening was perfect. Full of dancing fun, full of love and full of crazy friends celebrating a long overdue coming together of two fantastic people. Gustav meets so many different people at all the weddings he photographs and it never gets tired to meet new interesting passionate people. Jenna and Sheldon has a different and special kind of love for each other, one that they both share in their passion for animals. They are going to make a formidable Vet team one day! For all the animal analogies at least we can say, no animals were harmed during this awesome wedding.
