Getting married on a farm in a barn that’s been in your family for over 100 years, can only be a magical experience. This is what Liezl and Rory’s wedding day delivered. Naturally that is a photographer’s dream, according Gustav, who really loved every moment of the day. Liezl was such a beautifully relaxed bride. Things were happening all around her and it just seemed like she was in full control and had faith that everything will work out, and it did… and it was mind-blowing! She was ready for this day and absolutely turned on her camera charm at will. Rory is the sports crazy slightly shy gentleman. He made it clear that he didn’t like pictures very much, but when he peered into the camera, you could see depth to him that shows his soft charming soul. That and when he sees his son, he absolutely melts. Their reception was such a cool old eclectic theme, with a horse carriage, dating to the early 1900’s being part of the decor. But wait there was more. Serving desert in an old ornate cupboard was brilliant. The whole venue was a masterfully constructed piece of decor magic, only eclipsed by the sheer enjoyment of Rory and his enchanting bride. It was truly a special wedding. Old meets new, history, happiness, charm – it had it all and if we can take a leaf from this family’s history, we can surely see a long bright and happy future for this couple. We thank you dearly for allowing us to be part of your day.
