I’m gonna be honest… I undeniably love weddings hosted at home! There is really something strangely congruent about having this solemn yet festive occasion in a space that is equally dichotomized – a home that is your safe place, but where most of your crazy happens too 😉 It just fits!
Lenz and Ricky wanted this from the beginning – to have their home filled with sacred ceremony and raucous laughter and dance…and so it was. The weather that day was equally polar, starting with heavy rain and ending in glorious sunshine. We even ended the evening with a deeply romantic picture of fiery passion and sparklers in the icy pitch dark night.
A special mention must be made to this being my first “vegan wedding” and the food was amazing and the couple’s commitment to following through with their beliefs in every aspect of their day was so inspiring.
Thanks you two for inviting me into your lives, to capture your most special day in a crazy creative way – your story is one I will remember for a long long time and i know you two will keep making each other so happy for decades to come.
